"Sunday Morning" - Tiger Linocut Print (Edition of 15)

This design is inspired by the beautiful patterns of a tiger and the expressive qualities of their face. Typically a strong and fierce animal, here the tiger is depicted in a vulnerable moment yawning- maybe on a Sunday morning.

•⁠  ⁠Paper size: approx. 8" x 10" (20cm x25 cm) — a standard frame size
•⁠  ⁠Print size: approx. 5" x 7" (13cm x 18cm)
•⁠  ⁠Each print is individually numbered. stamped, and signed.

About the Process
The entire printing process is done by hand, which means no two pieces are exactly alike. Small variations in ink placement and coverage give each print its own character. The handmade lokta paper also has variations in texture, strands, and flecks, with hand-torn deckled (feathered) edges.
